  • Truth sets us free

I learned more about the good news of the gospel in the first two episodes than I did in 18 years of ‘religion’ in a legalistic coC congregation in the bible belt! Keep up the amazing work Dr Farley! I love Jesus more and more the more I hear about Him.

  • Teaching

Farley is a friendly enough guy with an Osteen-like smile, but his teaching is inferior. He mostly builds his platform on disagreement with other teachers & doctrinal platforms. He is quite critical of other teaching that disagrees with his opinions on Scripture. I’ve even heard him refer to a different theological position as “garbage” without explaining why he thinks it’s so. I have no problem with him being critical as long as 1) he explains himself, and 2) is open to people questioning his p... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

What is Revelation Really About?
Q: What is Revelation really about, and how should a reader interpret its symbols?
Revelation centers on Jesus, his reign, and the finished work of grace; the symbols point to real realities of persecution, judgment, and ultimate victory, but believers should read it through the lens of the gospel rather than leaning into sensational forecasts.
No Sacrifice Left? (Hebrews 10:26)
Q: My question is going to be regarding Hebrews 10:26.
The host explains that the passage does not describe a Christian losing salvation but warns unbelievers who are hesitant about embracing the gospel, comparing it to Israel wandering because of unbelief and emphasizing the security of those who have faith in Christ.
How Can I Know God's Will for My Life?
Q: In your book, The Naked Gospel, on page 210, concerning God's will, there's one view that you wrote that is, how will we know what He wants us to do?
Rather than a secret code or a list of dictated outcomes, the scriptural answer is that God's will is revealed in Jesus and the life he empowers us to live—prayer without ceasing, gratitude in all things, and bearing fruit as we remain in him. This reframes decision-making as living in relationship with Christ rather than chasing hidden messages.
Altars, Revivals, and Rededications
Q: Jamal asks why rededication and revival are popular topics in the body of Christ and whether those concepts fit with being born again.
The host explains that true Christian life is about recognizing the finished work of the cross and resting in the new identity already given to believers; rededication can be misleading if it implies human effort, and revival for the church should be understood as mind renewal and trust in Christ rather than a behavioral reset.
The Parable of the Wedding Feast
Q: Well, sir, I have Matthew 22, 14. I would love your people on it and everything. Could you explain this in proper context?
The host explains that the parable teaches the Kingdom of Heaven is like a wedding feast where the invitation goes out widely—initial guests reject it, but the invitation expands to everyone, including Gentiles. The point is that many are invited and the open invitation to faith is available to all who respond, not to a small, elite group. The passage emphasizes the universal reach of the gospel under the new covenant and the inclusivity of God's grace.
