  • Never To Early For Hymn Singing with Going Hollywood

Even though I was fortunate enough to be a guest on the wonderful episode about The Trip to Bountiful, I've become a regular listener and have especially loved the episode devoted to Coal Miner's Daughter. Tony Maietta and Brad Shreve are terrific hosts, bringing warmth, humor, and genuine affection for classic films to every conversation. Tony is a wealth of information, and Brad's passion for film and thoughtful opinions make for a terrific pairing.

  • A must for classic film and tv lovers

I stumbled upon this podcast by accident. I was familiar with Tony’s work on TCM and other documentaries, and I’ve enjoyed Brad’s other podcasts. Together they make a great, fun and informative team. I especially enjoyed the recent episode on silent film, as I think it is too often ignored in these shows.

  • Very enjoyable listen, I’m hooked!

I was searching for podcasts that had an episode about Grey Gardens and discovered Going Hollywood. It was one of the best podcasts of the seven that I had listened to with an episode about Grey Gardens. They are witty and informative, and opinionated and don’t pass on a lot of misinformation. I’ve already added seven of the episodes to my queue. I lovedthe episode about the classic movie.” The Women” For fans of old Hollywood- they are quite a treat.
