Welcome to Go Love Yourself! It’s the show where we’re all learning to love ourselves a little more 💖 Laura Adlington (left, 2020 GBBO Finalist) and her best friend Lauren Smith (right) grew up in the 90s and 00s when low rise jeans were high fashion, Bridget Jones was the poster fat girl and diet culture was rife. Now, we’re unlearning everything we’ve been taught about body image, acceptance and confidence, and this podcast takes you along for the ride! From self-love, to the other kind of self love (wink wink nudge nudge) we’re here to help you feel happier, more confident, and part of the best community on the internet. Join us EVERY TUESDAY as we talk about everything from diet culture to dating, mental health to social media, fashion and giving zero f***s about what people think. We're doing THREE live shows this year! Get your tickets here. GUYS. It’s only bloody Katie Price!!! For the last 30 years, she’s been part of our lives. From glamour model, to reality TV star, to mum, she’s constantly been been shredded apart by the press. To this day, she still has drones flying over her house... more
Lovely listeners, this might be our most emotional episode yet. We've recently been speaking a bit more on the podcast about our experiences with being child-free, so you might already know that, for numerous reasons, neither of us have kids, despite... more
It's been a while since we spoke about dealing with other people's opinions, and because we get SO many requests for advice on it, we thought we'd revisit it. more
I love these fabulous women who speak truth cutting through all the cultural pressures for everyone to conform. I have put on weight through grievance losing my dad in the pandemic and having a baby. It has been so upsetting to hear the judgment and often being made fun of by a weight conscious friend. This podcast has really helped me to feel more like myself again. Thank you for the wonderful work you do.
My favourite thing about the podcast is the relationship between Lauren and Laura, you feel like part of their gang and it’s lovely! They cover interesting topics and are happy to admit when they aren’t experts in an area. They are learning too and I think that’s refreshing. 100% recommend for a delightful blend of humour, girl power and discussion of current issues!
Oh my gosh I am in LOVE with your podcast! I’m new to the party, having only discovered your podcast a couple of weeks ago, but I have been binge listening ever since and recommending this and your Facebook community group to everyone I know 💖
You two are awesome and I so appreciate the honest chat - also, the light chat! Interviews are so informative but your simple one-to-ones are hilarious, honest and caring. I’ve learned SO much and genuinely changed my outlook on so many things. Love Lauren’s commitment to history & smut. Love Laura’s commitment to telling the truth about #influencerlife & taking the piss!
This show has been so helpful. They have helped me work on my body image and ED issues. Also it’s like having a chat with your best friends. Can’t recommend it enough ♥️☺️
