Welcome to Go Love Yourself! It’s the show where we’re all learning to love ourselves a little more 💖 Laura Adlington (left, 2020 GBBO Finalist) and her best friend Lauren Smith (right) grew up in the 90s and 00s when low rise jeans were high fashion, Bridget Jones was the poster fat girl and diet culture was rife. I cannot stop listening to this podcast & already can’t wait for season 2! You are both a joy to listen to. I would be super interested to hear an episode on the affects of weight loss TV shows from the mid 2000s (the biggest loser, fat families etc) xx
Not my normal type of content (usually listen to true crime, news/ political stuff) but I’m soo glad I randomly gave this show a go! Feels like I’m hanging out with some friends, we’re painting our nails around a cozy fire and chatting 💕 the Galentines episode has really inspired me to make more of an effort to organise cute little activities with friends, and also go to events/ museums etc alone if I can’t find anyone to join me.
I used to love this show, but now almost all the content is for subscribers only so it’s not really accessible for most people which is annoying. Most of the podcasts I listen to have occasional episodes that aren’t free, whereas this one now only had occasional episodes that are.
Always thoughtful discussion, including different points of view and nuance. The guests are interesting and Laura and Lauren keep it real and have a friendly fun tone. Please keep it up, thanks for the podcast every week it really helps me on my walk to work!
Love your podcast! Follow you both, and the podcast on Instagram. You both speak respectfully and still seem so down to earth.
