It took 10 minutes into the very first episode I listened to for me to get hooked. I then listened to every episode. PLEASE make more episodes. Mahalo for the great podcast!!
Makes me sad I’m pau with the podcast because it was so good. I was hooked on every episode and some of them even had me shocked with the ending. So I know we’re in 2025 but if can please make more! Mahalo for the stories, shoots🤙🏽
Just listened to part 1 of the woman and the horse and I cried. I love the humor of the tellings of the stories, the funny background commentaries but this surprised me with how poignantly he told the story. I really liked it. I hope he will post more. I don’t hear a lot of Hawaiian ghost stories but the ones I’ve heard are different from the lore.
I love this podcast, Jared is a great host and I hope more episodes come out!
I went to Maui in early 2020, doing mostly tourist things that left me hankering for more cultural oriented things. I love folklore and this podcasts dives into modern Hawai’i’s legends, some are recent and some are ancient. The host does them as a modern story, sometimes trying for the a fictionalized version to protect the people involved. Its great. I wish he could put out episodes more often.
