Great stories with an eerie tone due to the background music. But that’s a good thing, reminiscent of Unsolved Mysteries.
I stopped listening completely because the ads are just too jarring. It's too bad. I used to love this podcast.
I have listened to each episode multiple times, I queue up a bunch when going to bed. I love his voice for end of the day relaxing. But OMG I had to stop it in the middle of the night, the incessant repeat of the same LOUD ads is majorly annoying. They’ll repeat the same one four times straight. It’s ridiculous. Update: came back Sept ‘25 to see if I could listen again. Nope, ads are jarringly loud!
I find it comical people still listen to this garbage. And the show’s producers decided to flood the comments with positive AI reviews instead of listening to human reviewers. Haven’t listened to this show in several years now but check the reviews occasionally to get a good laugh. Nothing has changed and it never will
The subjects seem interesting, but the narrator’s sing-song cadence is unbearable and I couldn’t listen.
