- Great podcast but too many ads
Hurts to give this any less than 5 stars, but multiple multi-minute long ad segments per episode are just killing it for me.
I understand this needs to be profitable and it would be acceptable if it was limited to pre- and post-roll ads but those mid-roll segments just rip you out of the storytelling with a tonal shift so hard it might as well be accompanied by a slap to the face. Please consider making a change.

The vocal modulation of the narrator is frustrating—he emphasizes the wrong words and swallows whole the operative words in every sentence. I realize this is his show and creation—but he should step down from narration and get someone more professional. The ads are just obnoxious—disrupting the podcast midway through is just ridiculous.
