Many thanks to the fantastic hosts of Getting In. The College Coach hosts are THE experts on college admissions because they were Gatekeepers at highly selective colleges. Each week they have fun guests who entertainingly unpack the real story in today's maze of admissions and financial aid.
This is one of the best podcasts I've ever listened to. The host and the guests - students and college counselors alike - provide students, teachers, and parents with a glimpse inside what the colege admissions experience is like, providing invaluable advice along the way. I'm a college admissions cousnelor and I would love it if all my students (and parents!) would listen to this series before embarking on their process. I wish the program hadn't ended.
We get similar questions and wrestle with these themes each year. Julie addresses each topic by providing background and multiple perspectives. Such a great resource for all high school students and their families.
I absolutley LOVED this podcast. Sure would like to see another season.
I love this podcast! There was so much useful information to help get into college. I hope that there will be plans to add more shows. Maybe even a new season. Perhaps with high school seniors who would like to attend small in-state colleges. Or, even for high school seniors who would like to start their post high school years developing a trade and the best way to go about that.
