  • My second review !

Like many people who get older I have experienced some gastrointestinal issues - my doctor instructed me to relax while taking a dump…I’ll be honest—I have found listening to the Get Piped podcast while taking a morning or afternoon dump has become most relaxing part of my day. There’s something about their steady voices, the easy rhythm of the conversation, and the gentle musings on pipes and tobaccos that makes the whole experience oddly meditative…my only issue is when my daughter starts ban... more

I sent this to my dad who enjoys good stories. My original comment for this episode I forgot to rate it. I love how you guys tell stories. You really bring the listener into a different world filled with smoke and good conversation. Love the segments of this episode. I enjoy hearing your thoughts on what Shire life would look like if you were there. There is a pipe company online called Shire Pipes and I’ve got their Smaug Churchwarden pipe. They have some cool looking pipes and the box they com... more

  • Free hand fables

There’s absolutely no offense intended with this review. I love the get pipe podcast, but my favorite part without a doubt is the freehand fables. I too am a big fan of JRRT and audiobooks, and so on so forth, so the stories that you guys write and tell our short stories of joy and happiness for me I love every minute and every word.

  • I like what these guys are doing

This is a great show if you are interested in pipes, tobacco, and the tiny subgroup of pipe enthusiasts in the US and elsewhere. The hosts seem like genuinely good folks, and their personalities compliment each other nicely. Like another great pipe podcast I enjoy that’s hosted by one Brian Levine, they can occasionally get quite goofy with their concepts (I’m lookin’ at you, Smokelore), but overall their enthusiasm and fun is contagious. It’s also really nice that they have been involved with ... more
