  • Love the show, but...

I love the show, but there’s literally no point or plot. It’s just episode after episode of a couple of guys loving their lives. Sure, they experience life changes, and it’s fun to listen to, but I have to listen to it in chunks.. I can’t binge it.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Kickin' it in Muletown
Q: What drew you to this Pebble Cut blend?
The Pebble Cut is a long, flake-like tobacco with a robust Va/Ori/Perique blend, pressed by maritime methods to preserve old flavors; its moisture and cut make it stand out against modern mass-produced tobaccos.
Kickin' it in Muletown
Q: What is a Polonius?
Polonius is one of Gert Holbeck's pipe shapes; it's a sweeping, scoopy egg-shaped design with variations like an oval shank and a forward-canted rim, which distinguishes that lineage.
Tom Bigbee and the Riverboat Queen
Q: What is the tobacco blend you're smoking today?
We are smoking Polar Express from the Country Squire.
Sniffles
Q: Have you ever had a Zen smoke?
Every once in a while, I get a Zen smoke, but it's not something I specifically chase.
Sniffles
Q: How many of our esteemed listeners are smoking to try to chase an experience?
Mike expresses that he smokes to chase a Zen experience with every bowl, seeking the perfect combination of pipe and tobacco.
