The host isn’t believable as a scientist, she embodies the pompous and self-righteous attitude that’s a little unusual for a woman in science. Regarding the death of Kathleen Peterson, her “expert” she interviewed was a random man trying to profit off the case, not even a forensic scientist. It seems like a weird choice to be so unscientific on a science podcast.
Seems like this podcast would have good content if I could keep listening through the first 5 minutes instead of getting second hand embarrassment. Overall weird vibes, but if you can withstand it Godspeed!
The one and only episode I listened to was 92. The guy was so so disrespectful to the people who died. I could barely finish it because all I heard was him saying it was the victims faults. No remorse. It’s a very cheap version of Tooth and Claw.
And side note to the creators, barn cats are a necessity. Without them, rats and mice would destroy the food supply. The cats are normally feral, and find their own way to the barn. They aren’t forced there, I’ve never known of a barn cat being someone... more
I will start off in all honesty, i hadn’t been looking around for more podcasts because i became too attached to my few faves.. but i do work very long days and my cupith has run dry so i cruised the “suggestions” found Ashley Bray Get out Alive! February 24, downloaded the most recent three episodes just to feel things out and i am happy to go back and binge but now with her taking this new dream career (happy for you Ashley if you do happen to read this) shes pausing the podcast a bit. Hi Ashley and Nick! By the way, this may come up as Conor, but it’s actually Ben speaking. (Oh my Tilikum, I can’t believe I’m talking to you!)
This is legitimately one of my favourite podcasts! I love American people! You two have really gotten me back into animals and nature. I’m an autistic guy who loves kaiju, dinosaurs and all creatures. And this podcast always gets me interested after a long day. You’re both hilarious! Ashley’s enthusiasm and knowledge is greatly appreciated- and Nick hon... more
