  • AI production?

Good topics but slightly odd presentation and discussion style (to my UK ears). Are the presenters AI I wonder? Would be interested to know.

  • Chancay Port in Peru

Know how to pronounce the subject of your podcast. Every time you both say “Chancay” incorrectly it is very distracting and sounds like you are uninformed. Try “Chang-Kai”.

  • Ridiculous Banter

I enjoy the content of this podcast. However, the back and forth banter of the hosts is ridiculous. I’m not sure if the hosts’ voices are AI generated, as others allege, but the format of this podcast makes it almost unlistenable.

  • Stupid AI

Ironic because it’s AI but nothing identifies it as such, not transparent, plus the hosts talk about ‘US’ being ‘human’, it’s deceiving—the ‘hosts’ should just say they’re generated, plus McShane name is thumbs down!

  • Hmmm

    I can’t stop

Listening to this podcast, but not because of the discussion content, because it’s such an uncanny bellwether for the future of cheap and cheerful podcasts. I have high confidence that the hosts are just AI voices talking to each other, evidenced by awkward mispronunciations and interjections despite their pristine English. I expect we’ll see more of this moving forward from other podcasts. Aside from this, the information in the podcast is actually pretty decent, if tame.
