I didn’t think there would such an overlap bu GIU shows they deeply connected
I recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science and I've been very discouraged by how technology is used and discussed. I've had a lot of difficulty feeling excited about my degree or any career I might end up in. GIU taught me what cybernetics is, seriously enriched my understanding of marxism, and it’s the only leftist podcast that doesn’t make me feel like I’m trapped at the bottom of an abandoned well. Check it out!!
Excellent summary and Marxist analysis of various media and writings pertaining to our changing world and future.
The Blade Runner 2049 film analysis in particular made me realise many things I hadn’t noticed after watching it.
