    Love this podcast but have different separating the music from the talk. This IS a medical condition if you Google it. Music between segments is quite gentle & lovely but please cease whenever talk begins. Thanks from night owl in Oz

Yes, it will probably need protecting. Keep an eye on the weather and use horticultural fleece for cold nights but remove after frost risk.

You can cut back any of that rotting vegetation and if the corm or tuber is still hard and intact, store it in dry compost over winter and plant again next year.
