苦難の中再建しようとしている神殿には、昔の高級な木材や、金などでできたものではありませんでした。それでも、神様は、神様の御言葉を聞き、その御言葉に従って歩む人々を宝だと言ってくださいます。高級な材料で作られた「昔の神殿にまさる」、「この場所にわたしは平和を与える」、と言ってくださいます。

今、万軍の主はこう言われる。お前たちは自分の歩む道に心を留めよ。
ハガイ書1章5節
目の前の生活に心が占められて、神様に与えられている物が見えなくなってしまう時に、神様の御言葉に戻ってくることができるように、「自分の歩む道に心を留めよ」という呼びかけに聞きたいと思います。
問題を大きく捉えすぎて、まだその時は来ていないと言わず、自分にできる方法で神様に仕えたいと思います。
