  • Pretty Good Podcast

I really enjoy the podcast but I wish there was some representation from all of Canada and not just the big cities. Maybe someone from a place like Saskatoon , a place that the Hip loved and wrote about , would have been a nice perspective to get in the Hip top 40. I would rather hear the opinion of someone from Canada rather than playing the old boring game of being so astounded that someone from the US actually likes the Hip. Still a good listen though!

  • Jump in or deep dive.

Let me tell ya, I have been a long time listener since the boys started reviewing the hip album by album. These were my reintroduction into the band after a pulled back post Kingston. Iykyk. It has been an absolute joy listening to those shows. (Also on this stream) going back to listen has been great BUT the new jam is the TTH top 40. Learning of fellow hip fans has been killer and hearing their stories has been bubbling up so many memories… sit down…. Make your top 40… compare and contrast. ... more

A casual fan might miss the depth of Gord's lyrics and the intricacies of the musical composition, particularly the significance of the bass line and the absence of a traditional chorus, which makes it distinct from typical rock songs.
