I recently started listening after catching Keali Scheiderās fantastic episode with you. Now I'm totally hooked and binging the rest of the show. Episode 95 about teaching kids about money is so good. The concept of separating tasks into jobs that earn money and jobs that are more of contributions that are part of being a family unit is brilliant. I even listened to the episode twice and wrote down so many other ideas, including having need vs want conversations about money. Your tips feel like ... more
Lydia is great. Sheās so real and honest and shares her real life experience.
I just found this a couple of weeks ago from another budget podcast and binged all the episodes in just a couple of weeks. Thank you for sharing! Some info I had heard from other budget gurus but it was so good to hear it in a new way. I found some useful info and it gave me the renewal I needed to give me a fresh look on my budgetš and also all in a non guilt or judgmental way. I loved all the updates on student loan forgiveness and found some new budget tools to help.
I was instantly annoyed with the tagline ālife is messy and rarely fits inside of a cash envelopeā - clearly a jab at the Ramsey cash envelope system. I rarely find a good content creator that needs to bash other (proven) systems within the first 3 minutes of their show.
This podcast is amazing & inspring for anyone learning how to budget, live within your means, money advice and how to pay off debt.
Lydia is relatable, knowledgeable & it feels like listening to a good friend chat about money and life matters but without lecturing.
