Hosted by Ash Kelley and Alaina Urquhart from the hit show Morbid.
When 90-year-old Laurence Pilgeram drops dead on the sidewalk outside his condo, you might think that’s the end of his story. But, really, it’s just the beginning. Because Laurence and others like him have signed up to be frozen and brought back to life in the future. And that belief will pull multiple generations of the Pilgeram f... more

I love Ash and Alaina. Listening a long time. From Portsmouth, NH.. I love listening to you both before bedtime.. you both are great story telling and soothing voices.. Genuine and my fav podcast. I found you when I had already listened to the most update version of another crime podcast. After listened to Jack the Ripper; I was hooked. Favorite podcast! Thank you. You both Rock! Always respectful to victims and appreciate the insight!
So now every wondery show is subscriber only after the first episode? When will media companies learn that the “take features away/make them pay” business model never works. There are plenty of small producers out there making much better content, we’re just going to move on.
It’s such a shame because the content of this podcast seems to be one that I would really enjoy. However, the constant commentary from both of the hosts is so annoying, over the top trying to be funny and distracting.
This podcast has so much potential but the second, useless host, that just pretty much says stupid things to “chime in” and cheesy sound bites ruins what would be a decent podcast. “Alcor?!?!? That sounds like a brand of TuNa FiSh! No, you’re thinking of albacore!” Soooo stupid. C’mon guys.
I will listen to ANYTHING these two have to say. Love all four of the podcasts they’re apart of! Give me more more more!
Gross and disrespectful. Giggling isn't appropriate.
I deliver mail in Scottsdale and I’ve delivered to Alcor….its really disappointing to actually visit but the pod is good….guess as a native I’ve just grown use to it.
Story is interesting but their banter breaks in at random times, very distracting and adds more time than necessary to the episode
Pass on this one
I cannot abide the crackly voice pervading US broadcasting. The end of every sentence turns into a bizarre crackling sound.
Totally scripted. Even reactions from the other not telling the story is scripted. No off the cuff discussions that make Morbid so fun.
Ash and Alaina are so fun to listen to! Been a fan of MORBID for a few years and this is awesome to have a whole series to listen to. Super interesting I used to work with liquid nitrogen in a lab and always thought "wow these are just like giant cryogenic hot tubs for dead people" except we only kept samples frozen in there. But I thought about these cryogenics people all the time! Fascinating!
It takes skill to tell a story, let alone having 2 hosts. Wished the storytelling and interviews were allowed to flow without sound bites.
Joking and laughing. Stupid scripts. Get a comedy show and stop ruining good subjects.
Crazy topic and great storytelling
