  • Really enjoy this

I loathe the monarchy but love this show! You can expect a calm, reasoned discussion of the monarchy and the benefit of becoming a republic. It discussion is always well informed and engaging. I have a slight issue because their position is to get an elected head of state. I don’t think we need one!

  • Disappointing

I wanted to like this pod, I really did. I was hoping for an in-depth exploration of the issues, U.K. constitution, and the history of monarchy. But it’s just a series of guests saying why they’re republican. That’s fine occasionally or for a section, but I was hoping for much more. I’ve realised I’m not actually enjoying it so I’ve given up.

  • Nice idea but not working for me

I’ve struggled to get into this one. Part of the reason I am a republican is because I have zero interest in princesses and yet recent episodes have spent far too long talking about lady Diana and Megan Markel. I’d like to hear more discussion on how we actually get rid of the monarchy. What’s the strategy? What are the arguments we need to win? What does this it mean to our wider constitution and institutions?
