From their compound tucked deep in the mountains of Montana, each week the Frightday crew investigates chilling incidents of high strangeness, human wickedness, peculiar cryptids, & conspiracies...from a rational perspective. The subject is then paired with a review of a new release genre film. If it bleeds, hacks, stabs, summons, sacrifices, abducts, or bites...it is Frightday.

The content is very interesting to listen to, and Kelly does her best to keep the episode’s story moving despite the continuous childish interruptions from Sam. If there were a way for AI to just filter Sam out completely it would be a 4+ star show, but sadly there isn’t. At some point you just have to say enough is enough and stop listening. If Sam were even remotely interesting or intelligent it might be tolerable, but no such luck. Sorry.
I listened to the Nathaniel Bar-Jonah series (from 2021) and while I appreciate the thoroughness of the research, I don’t understand Kelly’s role here. She just interjects with completely useless often one word comments and is weirdly aggressive. I’d like to hear this without her additions.

I initially found this podcast while searching iTunes for content about Zak Bagans. I did this because he fascinates and infuriates me in equal measure. I realise that searching for podcasts to try and reaffirm my opinion on a celebrity that I have never met and never will meet is odd, but that’s besides the point.
The ZakBag episodes were enough to get me hooked however and Frightday is now easily my number one go to podcast.
