From their compound tucked deep in the mountains of Montana, each week the Frightday crew investigates chilling incidents of high strangeness, human wickedness, peculiar cryptids, & conspiracies...from a rational perspective. The subject is then paired with a review of a new release genre film. If it bleeds, hacks, stabs, summons, sacrifices, abducts, or bites...it is Frightday.

I listened to the Nathaniel Bar-Jonah series (from 2021) and while I appreciate the thoroughness of the research, I don’t understand Kelly’s role here. She just interjects with completely useless often one word comments and is weirdly aggressive. I’d like to hear this without her additions.

I initially found this podcast while searching iTunes for content about Zak Bagans. I did this because he fascinates and infuriates me in equal measure. I realise that searching for podcasts to try and reaffirm my opinion on a celebrity that I have never met and never will meet is odd, but that’s besides the point.
The ZakBag episodes were enough to get me hooked however and Frightday is now easily my number one go to podcast.

Interesting, informative, well paced and imaginative review. We watched the movie that night and loved it. Thanks for this wholesome scary fun.
I love these two. It’s rare to find a podcast that can balance covering unique horror and true crime stories while still maintaining great research and still being fun! Great editing, great people. Thanks for all your work, Kelly & Byron!
