From their compound tucked deep in the mountains of Montana, each week the Frightday crew investigates chilling incidents of high strangeness, human wickedness, peculiar cryptids, & conspiracies...from a rational perspective. The subject is then paired with a review of a new release genre film. If it bleeds, hacks, stabs, summons, sacrifices, abducts, or bites...it is Frightday.

  • Kelly is good, but Sam ruins the show

The content is very interesting to listen to, and Kelly does her best to keep the episode’s story moving despite the continuous childish interruptions from Sam. If there were a way for AI to just filter Sam out completely it would be a 4+ star show, but sadly there isn’t. At some point you just have to say enough is enough and stop listening. If Sam were even remotely interesting or intelligent it might be tolerable, but no such luck. Sorry.

  • What even is this?

I listened to the Nathaniel Bar-Jonah series (from 2021) and while I appreciate the thoroughness of the research, I don’t understand Kelly’s role here. She just interjects with completely useless often one word comments and is weirdly aggressive. I’d like to hear this without her additions.

Apparently other episodes are horror movie reviews? No idea what this show is even supposed to be, but one star for the research and another one because according to other reviews she trash talked Trump, so ... more

  • Not having an episode of this to listen to at work makes me furious.

I initially found this podcast while searching iTunes for content about Zak Bagans. I did this because he fascinates and infuriates me in equal measure. I realise that searching for podcasts to try and reaffirm my opinion on a celebrity that I have never met and never will meet is odd, but that’s besides the point.

The ZakBag episodes were enough to get me hooked however and Frightday is now easily my number one go to podcast.

Brandon Christensen (Bodycam)
Q: What cameras or tech did you actually use to shoot Bodycam?
We used GoPros mounted on camera vests with back-mounted power packs and wireless transmitters, which allowed actors to move freely while the crew stayed at a distance to maintain the POV feel.
Brandon Christensen (Bodycam)
Q: What were your personal rules for how you'd shoot this to keep it fresh over a feature length?
We decided to stick to the world of bodycams and not drift into conventional footage; the key was to use ring cameras as needed but keep the primary POV consistent, while ensuring the footage felt authentic and cinematic when the action escalates.
Brandon Christensen (Bodycam)
Q: All right, Brandon, big question here. How'd you get Mary J. Blige in the film?
The team reached out through her people with a simple pitch, and we kept it flexible, adjusting the title and concept to fit what she might respond to while staying true to the bodycam idea.
Episode 425: The Zodiac Convergence Pt. I
Q: What is the connection between the Zodiac Group and powerful members of society?
The Zodiac Group is linked to notable figures across various industries, including finance and media, establishing a network of influence extending into intelligence realms and UFO research.
VISITORS: Robert Salas (Malmstrom UFO incident)
Q: What do you think it would take for some experience like yours to dial things back?
