I absolutely love Brad and Sarah’s take on the high republic. After searching for good discussions on Alphabet squadron, and loving their fun, entertaining and engaging conversations, I knew I had to read high republic. Now high republic is one of my favorite things in Star Wars, and something I come back to time and again. I love following Brad and Sarah’s amazing theories, and just makes me love the series and Star Wars in general that much more. Thanks for the awesome pod you guys and keep it... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Interview with Madeleine Roux on “STAR WARS: LEGACY”
Q: What was most important for you to capture about the Rey and Leia relationship in this time period?
I focused on going small and internal, using the novel as a tool to dive into Rey's psychology and to show why their bond feels earned through hard conversations and shared growth in the wake of their previous films.
The Ninth Jedi Roundtable Interview (Kenji Kamiyama, Shunsuke Tada, & Hitoshi Ito)
Q: How did you approach creating The Ninth Jedi as a series as opposed to a standalone episode?
The decision came from fan reactions to the original short, plus the desire to expand on the characters and world. They built out backstories and arcs for key figures like Kara and Jima, and the team felt there was more story to tell beyond a single film.
Interview with Kwame Mbalia: Author of “Star Wars: The Last Order”
Q: What was it like to return to the galaxy far, far away in writing 'The Last Order'?
Kwame shares that returning was rewarding and emphasizes the importance of writing short stories to hone his skills before diving into a full-length novel.
Interview with Kwame Mbalia: Author of “Star Wars: The Last Order”
Q: What led you to pivot to a career in writing?
Kwame discusses how writing was initially a hobby for him while he worked as a pharmaceutical metrologist, and how he later discovered the need for discipline in completing stories.
Interview with the Cast & Creators of LEGO STAR WARS: PIECES OF THE PAST
Q: How did the element of comedy play into your writing for both seasons?
Comedy comes from a place of love and is a natural part of how fans joke about Star Wars.
