  • The introductions are right out of Gran Turismo

Love everything Frank does. But this intros are killing me, it sounds just like creating a new profile in the Gran Turismo games!

  • Podcast

Frank - I live the logistics questions you are asking. Like asking McLellan about what he does before the game, after game etc.

I am so interested in those type of items, like how do teams travel exactly, how exactly does the waiver wire work etc

    Love the podcast.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Logan Couture
Q: So as you're working through the physical part of it and how difficult that is, what has the mental side been like?
A lot of ups and downs. At the start, it was a lot of research and just trying to figure out what exactly was wrong with me and reached out to other players that play in the NHL or were playing in the NHL who have dealt with a type of this injury.
Logan Couture
Q: What's normal day to day life like for you now? How are you getting around?
I've got two young kids now. I just took my daughter out actually about an hour before this for a walk... I try and stay in shape. I try and ride the bike... but I'm sore the rest of the day.
Logan Couture
Q: Was there any surgery options? Was there anything else that you could do to try and maybe find a different way to tackle it?
There's possible one, but it's not guaranteed. There's a therapy that has been done in certain people, but the percentage wasn't close to 100... with the injury, so many times of continuously re-aggravating it, re-injuring it, my body just couldn't take it anymore.
Logan Couture
Q: Logan Couture, two weeks ago, you're sitting at a podium in San Jose talking about the end of your career, now that you've had a couple weeks to digest it, and looking back, what were the emotions like for you?
It's been an interesting couple years. Some highs and lows, obviously, with the injury, getting hurt for the first time... mentally, it was tough, physically, it was tough, but coming to this conclusion, and getting the whole thing over with, I think, felt pretty good for me to get some closure and move past it a little bit.
Jay Woodcroft
Q: What should your team look like or play like when you step behind an NHL head coach opportunity again?
My team will play with a certain level of pace and purpose, focusing on both offensive and defensive responsibilities equally.
