Reviews

4.8 out of 5 stars from 40 ratings
  • Host needs to change a bit

The subjects are very interesting but the host needs professional podcast training. The host is constantly grunting and “uh-huh”ing during interviews. This is common during real life conversation, but typically podcasters try to avoid it so that the guest can say everything clearly and uninterrupted.

Everything You Always Wanted to Know About the Houthis But Were Afraid to Ask

Edmund Fitton-Brown suggests that appeasement is certain failure and recommends harmonizing Yemen policy with Iran policy while considering decapitation of leadership to weaken the Houthi movement.
Three Voices From the Front Lines in Ukraine
Q: From your perspective as the former Inspector General, how is the war going today? What's the state of the war?
The front line is frozen, and the operational level shows that the enemy is losing a lot of people and probably doesn't value them.
The War Against the West Has a Long Way to Go
Q: What is the current situation with Yemen and the Houthis?
The Houthis have consolidated power and have received significant support from Iran, complicating the conflict in Yemen and affecting shipping routes in the Red Sea.
The War Against the West Has a Long Way to Go
Q: How do you view the role of the UN in these conflicts?
While the UN has some functions, it has taken on too many roles that are not essential and has not adequately addressed terrorism effectively.
The War Against the West Has a Long Way to Go
Q: What have we learned about terrorism and the enemies of America since 9/11?
There has been both learning and failure, with significant work done in counter-terrorism but many unresolved conflicts contributing to terrorism's persistence.
