Mike Gonzalez and golf legend Bruce Devlin bring a refreshing long interview of golfing greats podcast to the table, and it is such a joy to tune in. The podcast is organised so well as to strike a near perfect balance between the game’s technical side with its human side. (To that point, I would like to hear a little more about what makes each golfing legend tick, but that is just my preference.) I just listened to an emotional Illinoisan Todd Hamilton speak so candidly about his extraordinary ... more
A superb two part interview with the 1973 Masters winner. A great player and champion, but what comes across is a great gentleman who played golf at the highest level and is still a humble man. Why isn’t Tommy in the World Hall of Fame ?
What a great concept and so well executed. This is a wonderful contribution to the oral history of the game and will be a great resource for future golf enthusiasts and golf historians to access. Despite his excellent playing record, this series may well turn out to be Mr Devlin’s finest and most lasting contribution to the game of golf. Great work fellas.
Love the hosts. They are excellent. Don’t understand the uploads though. They re-upload old episodes again and again but some they never upload the second part. For instance where is the second part for the interview with Padraig Harrington? Overall grateful for this pod.
Mike and Bruce are well worth a listen, excellent guests, insightful interviews with no agendas. A must listen for golf enthusiasts!
