  • Info Abounds

I have been a regular listener and have never been disappointed! Mark focuses on principles of life and learning and not on the quick fix. I share with friends and their feedback is equally positive. Thanks Mark.

  • The creepy used car salesman

Mark sounds like the creepy used car salesman where the creepy uncle that would lurk around and holiday parties. He’s constantly peddling some new equipment or a service where he gets a cut off of sales. The whole podcast is a huge turn off and while there are some nuggets of Info, that some of his guests share, those moments are far and a few in between

  • Couldn’t get through it anymore

Mark has a great roster of guests. Discusses a lot of great topics. By his own admission though, he interrupts and talks over his guest so much I feel some great information never gets shared. The course of the conversation suffers. I found it too frustrating to continue.

  • On the Mark

Mark, there are a lot of golf podcasts available these days. Yours is my favorite by far. You have a wonderful variety of guests and your style of interviewing and interacting with them makes the show both entertaining and informing. Most importantly your genuine humility and encouraging nature makes me want to keep listening - because golf is such a difficult and humbling game. I even want to buy some jondo glasses because you seem so sincere. THANK YOU for what you do.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

How Elite Golfers Reset: Routines, Stats, and Better Decisions with Arjun Malik
Q: How should a golfer approach post-round evaluation to gain meaningful insights?
The guest advocates breaking down the round into measurable statistics (fairways hit, greens in regulation, up-and-down conversions) and reviewing video or feedback to identify weaknesses. The aim is to turn data into targeted practice and reduce vague feelings of “I played poorly.”
How Elite Golfers Reset: Routines, Stats, and Better Decisions with Arjun Malik
Q: What are the core elements of a Prisha (pre-shot) routine and how should players discover what works for them?
Arjun explains that the pre-shot routine should be tailored to the individual, incorporating preferred learning styles (visual, auditory, or kinesthetic), the right balance of practice swings, and a trigger that signals readiness. He emphasizes practicing the chosen routine in off-season and keeping it consistent on course so the brain and body respond cohesively.
Chris Gotterup with Insights from Inside the PGA TOUR Ropes
Q: How do you manage swing thoughts and keep your game from getting tangled when things go off a little?
I rely on a deep understanding of my swing, and I keep my focus on fundamentals and positioning rather than chasing new technical changes during tournaments.
Chris Gotterup with Insights from Inside the PGA TOUR Ropes
Q: Tell us about that pivotal playoff moment and what you felt going into those final holes.
It felt like a culmination of pressure, nerves, and belief all at once; after a long finish, I trusted the process, stayed calm, and let the game come to me, which helped me execute under the spotlight.
Lessons from Inside the PGA TOUR Ropes with Inci Mehmet
Q: How do you balance data with feel in modern golf?
Focus on a few data points that matter most to you, use launch monitors to inform but not overwhelm, and prioritize the human feel and situational adaptation over raw numbers.
