  • Not for me

I like the content. Like the guests. I find the host to be almost unlistenable. Interjects and interrupts. He’s smug and seems arrogant.

  • How many adverts?

Fast forwarded over the first couple and with 3 minutes had another. Stopped right there. Pity as subject sounded interesting

  • Too many ads.

The amount of ads is a bit extreme. Just found the podcast and played the first episode. First 6 mins were commercials and after 30 minutes there have been and additional for 3 lengthy ad segments. If you want to keep fast forwarding every few minutes, maybe it’ll be worthwhile for you.

  • Full of Adverts.

I tried the latest podcast but gave up after about 15 minutes because there seemed to be more adverts than content. A shame because the content sounded as if it might get interesting but the interviewee was interrupted by ads so often that there was no flow.

Q: What is your design process when starting a new course—where do you begin?

Golf Courses Don’t Need To Be Harder To Be Better with Course Architect | Mulligans
Q: How did you approach becoming a golf course architect, and what shaped your philosophy?
Kidd describes a childhood steeped in golf course work, family involvement in maintenance, and a shift from maintenance to design driven by wonder and a desire to create spaces that feel natural and approachable for the average golfer.
Making Golf Your Job with Big Randy
Q: What was the turning point that pushed you from a hobby to a full-time media career?
Meeting Rory McIlroy and other top players lent credibility and exposure, transforming the project from a niche podcast to a recognized golf media voice.
Making Golf Your Job with Big Randy
Q: When did you start playing golf and how did that influence your path into No Laying Up?
He describes starting young with basic exposure, summer camps, and college connections that eventually evolved into a group conversation about golf that grew into a full-fledged media project.
The Power of Club Face Control with Mike Malaska
Q: What is your view on how arms, hands, and wrists contribute to the swing?
They are part of a larger system; hands learn what to do with the club, and the body then adapts to execute the motion with face control, rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all swing.
