  • Not for me

I like the content. Like the guests. I find the host to be almost unlistenable. Interjects and interrupts. He’s smug and seems arrogant.

  • How many adverts?

Fast forwarded over the first couple and with 3 minutes had another. Stopped right there. Pity as subject sounded interesting

  • Too many ads.

The amount of ads is a bit extreme. Just found the podcast and played the first episode. First 6 mins were commercials and after 30 minutes there have been and additional for 3 lengthy ad segments. If you want to keep fast forwarding every few minutes, maybe it’ll be worthwhile for you.

  • Full of Adverts.

I tried the latest podcast but gave up after about 15 minutes because there seemed to be more adverts than content. A shame because the content sounded as if it might get interesting but the interviewee was interrupted by ads so often that there was no flow.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Why Your Swing is Hurting you LESS Than You Think with Jim Waldron | Mulligans
Q: What makes your 'Get Ready, Get Set, Go' drill effective for timing and swing path?
It's a structured, three-step method that trains the body to stay in the intended position through the transition and into the forward swing, improving balance and coordination.
Why Your Swing is Hurting you LESS Than You Think with Jim Waldron | Mulligans
Q: How important is grip pressure in preventing early release and the hit impulse?
Grip pressure must be learned first in a static setup; once consistent, the wrist cock angle can be maintained and the hit impulse reduced, because you're not fighting inconsistent grip and timing.
Why Your Swing is Hurting you LESS Than You Think with Jim Waldron | Mulligans
Q: Jim, how do you teach people to make swing changes without overthinking it?
By focusing on awareness and feel channels rather than trying to control the movement with the thinking mind; start with slow-motion and gradually build the motor program through repeated, purposeful practice until the movement becomes automatic.
Golf's Greats: Differences and Similarities with Mike Purkey
Q: Who would you pay to watch among these players?
Purkey expresses a preference for Hogan and Trevino due to their ownership of their swings and the unique ways they attacked the course, with a particular fascination for Hogan's method and temperament.
The Mystery of Golf's Greatest Ball Striker with Lorne Rubenstein
Q: Did Moe have a Eureka moment with his swing, or was it a gradual buildup?
The guest suggests Moe found his own swing through repeated success and natural instincts, with no single defining moment, and he remained true to it despite external advice.
