  • Must listen for golf addicts

I can’t say enough great things about this podcast. Ev and Cerm make it such a fun and easy listen and - unlike any other golf podcast - they make the show about the listener. Each episode gets me more and more excited about my next round and elevating my game to the lowest handicap possible. Highly recommend!

  • Thanks for what you bring to golf

So, today I broke par for the first time. I’ve had a few chances and I choked a couple of them away in pretty miserable fashion. Today was different. I was 2 under headed to 16 and hit a couple bad shots and then 3 putted from 25 feet for a double bogey 5. I could feel my body deflate for a second. But today something changed. I embraced the challenge. I made it fun for myself. I treated it like 3rd and 9 or having the ball down 2 with 20 seconds left in basketball. Hit 2 great shots and birdied... more

  • Great mental game golf pod!

I am a newer listener to the show, and I have been in a real battle with golf for what feels like a while, not scoring how I want, getting angry during rounds, negative feelings towards golf for a while now. I listened to couple of episodes, and one in particular about shifting focus to ensuring people in the group are having fun, and it worked wonders in my last round. Definite “A-ha” moment mentally on the course. Already seeing the benefits in my game, and there are a ton of good takeaways fr... more

Found them a couple years ago and they’ve helped my game a ton while playing way less. They focus on you playing golf not golf swing. Fix your mental game and enjoy golf more and play better. Hop aboard

#380: Replay Rate - Break Free from Suckville with Sports Psychologist Dr. Bhrett McCabe
Q: How do you help someone with the Yips to learn how to play with the thing that makes them feel so inadequate?
One way is to accept the Yips as a part of their game and find a way to manage it rather than trying to get rid of it. Players can embrace alternative methods to play effectively despite the Yips.
