  • Rypgolf episode?

After listening the the 4 part series and attempting to find the website and app for training discussed it doesn’t exist? Would have been nice to get more information on how to find it since the episodes purposefully leave the actual how to fix your swing out

  • Get to the point

Love the Luke 10 min clips but the hour long equipment shows are so bad. You waste so much time talking about nothing-horses for my daughter, machines that kick soccer balls blah blah blah. It could be so good but the time wasting and the arrogance of “uncle gene” is nauseating. Please just get to the titleist t series iron comparison

  • Separate the Equipment Show

This podcast with LKD is great and every episode teaches me something new. I also do not like having an hour long episode about equipment at all. Would be 5 stars without the equipment podcast mixed in.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Golf IQ Mailbag: Part 1
Q: What's the difference between bump swing systems and rotational swing systems?
There isn't a hard division; every swing involves bumping and rotating. The difference lies in the timing and sequencing—how much of each movement happens and in what order—to avoid common faults.
Golf IQ Mailbag: Part 1
Q: What do players feel through their feet?
Players load into the right hip and push against the ground, while on the downswing they stuff the left toes into the front foot to create leverage, then push off and turn through.
Golf IQ Mailbag: Part 1
Q: Changing grip for shot shape: bad idea or okay?
If a grip change is working for you, continue; the tour pros often tweak their grip and hand position, but the key is monitoring and maintaining the grip in a consistent spot over time to avoid drift.
Golf IQ Mailbag: Part 1
Q: How important is keeping the lead arm straight during the backswing?
Conventional wisdom about a perfectly straight lead arm has softened; there can be benefits to a small amount of give in the left arm for a longer, more effective hand path, but many coaches now emphasize also keeping the right arm wide and active to prevent over-narrowing and to maintain speed.
How our staffers got better ... fast
Q: What should golfers know going into a lesson at Golf Galaxy?
Be a good listener, do drills on air, and stay open-minded to pivot when a cue doesn't feel right, with clear communication between student and instructor to adapt quickly.
