Half truths! You neglected to mention that the walking/bike bridge to Queensborough was deemed to be impossible to build (which a staff member pointed out). Also the $700,000 plus a year needed to operate the ferry. Also, the residents had in a survey expressed the interest in paying more as long as they had the service.
