This podcast is a deep dive into some of my favorite folk, outsider, visionary, and self-taught artists, and a conversation with some of my friends in the field about how they got their start, which artists inspire them, and which ... more

I’ve listened to all of them, some twice (esp Sarah D’Ambrosio) and Kylie Ryu). Learned a great deal about art, creating, and even the business side of things… Adam is a great listener and interviewer, and I love the flow of these conversations.
Great podcast about outsider art with artist and art historian interviews. Folk art does not get enough attention in our culture of comparison and mainstream achievement. Adam Oestreich is a compassionate and generous interviewer/ host. Highly recommend.
If charisma were a brushstroke, Adam Oestreich would be an entire mural. Loving all of the guests and new knowledge about folk art and all the reasons why people are drawn to it.
I love listening in on conversations about real people who make art from their own stories. This podcast is great. Thank you.
