I confess I don’t have a Full Focus planner, but I love this show because Marissa and Joel are so honest about their struggles and have great strategies that address what’s stopping us from reaching our goals. There are always tips that speak to me — that feel doable in my life. And they explain things nice and clearly, which I also appreciate.
I have been a long time listener, over a few iterations of hosts. This pairing is excellent. Joel and Marissa are not too different and not too alike, their advice and insights are excellent, the topics are relevant and actionable.
Thank you for another new iteration! This is the perfect complement to my FFP and I learn something new each week. Well done!
Love the podcast and the tools. Relatively new to the full focused planner and I love the system. Suggestion to maybe cut the podcast length to 30 minutes in the nature of being productive ;) And i would love to hear suggestions on how to use the planner completely and regularly. My biggest problem is opening it every day but I am good at using it before the week starts and that in itself helps me for the week. Look forward to more podcasts and tools from the company.
At age 76 I am filled with hope that finally I may have found some coaching by listening to these podcasts studying the material that's available online and using the full focus planner, that I might finally get my act together and be come the productive person I've always wanted it to be.

I was on the fence about leaving a review, until Joe just made a comment about drowning in tasks and someone hands you a piano. The banter back and forth is so great and easygoing, but discussing much needed strategies and leaving grace for ourselves. So, I am hereby leaving a 5 star rev... more

The show centers on practical productivity rhythms, planning methodologies, and mindset shifts aimed at helping listeners slow down, act with intention, and win at work while improving everyday life. Across episodes, hosts emphasize the Full Focus system, cadence-driven habits (weekly previews, daily Big Three), and strategies to reduce burnout through margin, energy management, and deliberate prioritization. Listeners can expect actionable frameworks, real-world examples, and candid conversations about balancing work, life, and personal growth. A standout trait is the consistent focus on turning intentions into repeatable routines, with emphasis on applying principles rather than chasing vague motivation.
