  • Doesn’t use real speakers?

Immediately hit with the sounds of a robot pronouncing 추석 as Chew-see-awk

  • Either they're using AI for the English speaker or the person speaking has absolutely no clue how any of the Korean words and names are pronounced. Not to mention the names are pronounced differently each time. For a site that claims it is based on sociolinguistics, it seems to be missing a human component. It was really hard to get past Jeyuungbookgoong for 경복궁.

  • Good in theory, disappointing in reality

The idea behind this podcast is great. I wanted something simple to help my listening comprehension and natural pronunciation… but it sounds like the autogenerated voice a lot of language learning services use. Not helpful for learning how real people speak.
