  • Best fishing show out there!!!

Does a great job getting a ton of interesting gas on the show covering different bodies of water that you’ve never heard of !! I live in north of Houston, Texas but this show makes me want to move to the DMV area to try all those smallmouth rivers!! This is also one of the few shows that will routinely have fish biologist on and interesting conversation!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

470 | Springtime Largemouth Buzzbait Fishing Secrets with 911 Custom Lures
Q: How important is the rivet and squeak in buzz baits, and can listeners expect durable squeak out of the box?
The rivet crimping is crucial; a properly crimped rivet ensures consistent squeak as the blade rubs, but many anglers may need to break in or adjust rivets to maintain sound over time.
470 | Springtime Largemouth Buzzbait Fishing Secrets with 911 Custom Lures
Q: What makes your buzz bait design special compared to others on the market?
The design centers on a light wire frame that allows the blade to contact the head to create a ticking sound, with tuning options to adjust noise; the head shape and wire spacing are optimized for smooth plane-out and to come through cover effectively.
469 | Springtime River Smallmouth Fishing Secrets Revealed with Jeff Little
Q: How did Jeff get into kayak fishing and why kayak over other boats?
Jeff describes growing up with bank and canal fishing, moving toward kayak fishing in the late 1990s, and emphasizes kayak stability, stealth, and the ability to position for presentations as key reasons for choosing a kayak dimension and setup.
468 | Chesapeake Bay Oyster Reefs & Habitat Restoration with Jesse Howe (CCA Maryland)
Q: For people that don't know, we don't have to go full in depth, but what is the CCA? How does that group function?
The CCA Maryland is a state chapter of a national conservation organization focused on advocating for recreational anglers, protecting habitat, and advancing projects like the Living Reef Action Campaign, with autonomous fundraising and a strong emphasis on community involvement and education.
Ocean City & Eastern Shore Fishing Breakdown: Kayak, Blackwater Bass & Offshore Tuna fishing
Q: What is your story and how did you get into this fishing scene?
I grew up here, in Berlin near Ocean City, with family ties to fishing, started in both freshwater and offshore, and shifted to kayaking as gear like pedal drives emerged; social media later helped grow the channel and audience.
