  • Have to stop

I hate to do this and don’t love leaving bad reviews but I just can’t listen to Carlo stutter for words anymore. I used to enjoy listening to the show as they were the first to air the latest news and updates. But man, Carlo is just painful to listen to. Grasping for words, stuttering all over the place, loud and honestly a bit obnoxious. Like I said, hate to say it but I had to aggressively click the stop button to stop listening today out of annoyance. Been listening for a years but today was ... more

  • Because

Jesus, how many times does Coco say “because” in a show. Gotta be a hundred. Insane nobody has told him to make an effort to at least limit it. Because is a space filler 85% of the time and isn’t necessary, BECAUSE I said so. I’ll deal with AK after we fix Coco.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

First Up - June 29th, 2026 - Hour 3
Q: I was hoping you could take us through the Stefan Estaccio story a little bit.
Jason DeVos explains Stefan Estacchio's journey from Leamington to Portugal and back to Canada, highlighting how his goal signaled a broader renaissance for Canadian soccer and the national team's growing depth.
Dreger on how the Leafs will utilize their cap space, if the Leafs will be in the Werenski sweepstakes & how close was Hellebuyck to getting traded
Q: What's the latest on Connor Hellebuyck and how might Buffalo or others realign for him?
Dreger indicates a near-50% chance discussion existed around Hellebuyck but emphasizes there are multiple moving parts, including goaltender depth and package dynamics, with Jets and Sabres weighing options.
Dreger on how the Leafs will utilize their cap space, if the Leafs will be in the Werenski sweepstakes & how close was Hellebuyck to getting traded
Q: How aggressive might the Leafs be in pursuing Werenski given their cap space and the market around the league?
Dreger suggests Toronto would explore all avenues and potentially leverage cap space to attract high-impact players, while noting the need to balance asset cost and long-term fit. He stresses that Werenski's impact would be substantial but the package would have to make sense for both teams.
Johnston on why the Leafs could be a busy team in the offseason, if Bobrovsy will be targeted by the Leafs & the latest on Zach Werenski
Q: What is the likelihood of Bobrovsky changing teams and how does that impact the Leafs?
Bobrovsky's status is uncertain; teams are weighing long-term contracts and market demand, which could influence whether the Leafs pursue him or target alternative goaltenders. The general sense is the Panthers might not simply keep him, but the price and fit need to align with Toronto's cap situation and goaltending needs.
Rose on the reported interest of the Kawhi Leonard in a reunion with the Raptors, if trading for Kawhi is the right move for the Raptors & if the Raptors will have a quiet offseason
Q: What do you think the Raptors would have to give up to bring Kawhi Leonard over from LA?
The discussion suggests multiple first-round picks, potentially a mix of players and swaps, and consideration of long-term contracts given Kawhi's extension, but the overall package would depend on the perceived window and Kawhi's health and preferences.
