The plot is great and the characters are interesting and likable. This story deals with a diverse set of issues and personalities without being preachy. Well researched. I want more!!
Great character development, interesting and engaging story. Fingers crossed for season 2!
PLEASE! PLEASE WRITE ANOTHER SEASON!!!! I have been hungry for this pod for months now I need it😭
When the most critical reviews are still generally glowing, it's a sign to subscribe. I loved the script, the nuanced and likeable characters and the atmosphere. I think it needed a couple more voice actors, or at least a versatile man to do the various men's characters. At times it seemed like the narrator's voice seemed dry and frail, but overall she pulled it off, I would say. I resorted to jotting down notes to keep everyone straight, between the two breakups, and the switching between judge... more
I need more!!!
I loved this show and want more episodes to dive into. Based on the show itself, I would give it 5 stars.
BUT, I had subscribed to many Realm podcasts, and I do not enjoy that they run preview episodes for new shows constantly on all of their shows, regardless of if they are even from a similar genre or type of story. If they were similar genre’s and types of stories, I would not mind. I would love to hear about a story that is similar to a shoe I like already. I do not want the same episode p... more
Loved this series, hopeful for a second season!
This was really enjoyable storytelling. Well written, great characters and narrated really well. I enjoyed hearing the characters’ stories unfold and their professional and personal relationships develop. Interesting discussion about contemporary legal issues in a non-legalistic way. More of Jack, Odessa, Gabriel and Charlotte please!!
The characters are really well crafted, the narrator is really good as she goes to emphasize even a smirk like “peaking Harvard” and smirks at that. I don’t know why this isn’t a tv show. You could call this the next award winning program. I wished ever since the blazing wannabes of The West Wing were more like this
Great writing. Great story. Everything is so good about this podcast. Can’t wait for season 2
Thanks for framing Neuro Diversity as an advantage rather than disability. Love the legal environment too. Well done podcast!
I really hope that there’s a season 2. I’ve listened to this twice and truly hope for more. Thank you.
…..and I can’t believe you left us on such a cliffhanger!
Fiction podcasts have become my way of winding down before bed; turning off all screens, and turning on my imagination to recharge my brain. I’ve enjoyed many Realm productions (Low Life, Ninth Step Murders, Orphan Black, Gods & Lies, Beatrix Greene) but this has been my absolute favorite so far.
The clever dialogue grabbed my attention immediately, the characters’ emerging personalities and motivations engaged me further into their pe... more
Such a great listen! Ready for more seasons!
Thank you for having a neurodiverse protagonist! We need more representation. I loved the quote “words matter”.
