  • A+ podcast

I always look forward to hearing Bradley and Hugo’s discussions about tech, politics, and life. There are many pods out there that successfully break down issues and current events in a variety of ways. But I think that taking time to view the world through the lens of a technologist and political strategist is especially useful. And Bradley does it with a dose of humor and humility. For that reason, I recommend everyone move this pod to the top of their priority list.

  • Great Pod. Keeps me in the know

I enjoy this podcast immensely. I started my work career in NYC. Among other benefits, the pod is a great way for me to stay informed about NYC in a way that is deeper than what is reported nationally. Additionally, through Bradley’s guests and his recommendations , I feel much more in the know. Tusk has a good substack as well. The pod has a great return on time spent listening.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

What is a Museum For?
Q: Did you talk to her about that? Or did she agree?
We talked a lot. She ultimately kind of landed where I was, which was, and keep in mind, this is someone who's a studio art major, right?
Who Knew AI Was This Terrible at Math?
Q: Did you save time in the exercise by doing it that way rather than trying to pencil it out?
Yes, if the Gemini numbers are reasonably accurate, then it was worth it. However, with the other platforms, I would have only received inaccurate or no information.
The Gen Z State of Mind: "We're Just Trying to Survive"
Q: Do you see a future where AI is regulated effectively and positively?
Yes, there's a belief that leadership should emerge to provide necessary regulations, especially as young people want reassurance against the challenges posed by new technologies.
The Gen Z State of Mind: "We're Just Trying to Survive"
Q: What are the main economic pressures affecting Gen Z?
Economic anxiety is very present, driving the desire for financial stability rather than traditional success metrics like homeownership.
The Gen Z State of Mind: "We're Just Trying to Survive"
Q: Did you have to convince CNN to give you this beat, or were they like, we need someone to do this, and then they found you?
I pitched the idea, showcasing my clips to demonstrate the overlooked stories surrounding young people's political engagement.
