  • A+ podcast

I always look forward to hearing Bradley and Hugo’s discussions about tech, politics, and life. There are many pods out there that successfully break down issues and current events in a variety of ways. But I think that taking time to view the world through the lens of a technologist and political strategist is especially useful. And Bradley does it with a dose of humor and humility. For that reason, I recommend everyone move this pod to the top of their priority list.

  • Great Pod. Keeps me in the know

I enjoy this podcast immensely. I started my work career in NYC. Among other benefits, the pod is a great way for me to stay informed about NYC in a way that is deeper than what is reported nationally. Additionally, through Bradley’s guests and his recommendations , I feel much more in the know. Tusk has a good substack as well. The pod has a great return on time spent listening.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The Left Broke America. Can It Be Fixed?
Q: So one would be a lack of cohesiveness and social norms that encourage and allow us to treat each other with respect and decency, follow the basic rule to make society function well, and have some level of trust and faith in our institutions.
A macro solution set focusing on rebuilding social bonds through shared responsibilities like mandatory service, coupled with policy tools (basic income, mobile voting) to realign political incentives toward the middle, while emphasizing practical governance over division.
Man with a Scan
Q: How can policy or reimbursement models better support proactive health screening?
Shifting toward patient-directed funding and more flexible plans could reduce reliance on insurer reimbursement while still enabling access, with the understanding that upfront information and preventative care can lower long-term costs.
Man with a Scan
Q: What role do you see AI playing in Prenuvo's future?
AI helps standardize readings across radiologists and enables personalized insights about aging and disease risk, while preserving human oversight where needed; it can also expand access by providing structured data for more efficient diagnosis and care planning.
Man with a Scan
Q: What were the early challenges and how did you overcome doctor pushback?
Doctors warned against screening with CT-like methods due to history of failed mall-based scans and radiation concerns; we instead focused on patient experience, consumer demand, and building a scalable, human-centered clinical process to demonstrate value.
Man with a Scan
Q: How did you transition from consumer tech to healthcare, and what sparked Prenuvo?
After years of building software, I realized I had been front-loading the health costs by not prioritizing preventative care; a scan in Canada gave me firsthand insight into how powerful early health information could be, which inspired me to bring this technology to a mass audience.
