Another terrific artist took the time to chat with me! Fine Art Ceramist Patricia Griffin and I explored several topics in this podcast. We explored her transition to becoming a full-time artist. Her transition to opening a public space and becoming ... more
And... What is it for?
Well, well, well. A series of clicks found me re-visiting an amazing talk by Seth Godin. It's from December of 2017, but it's still so relevant today. And, it will be just as relevant two or twenty years from now. Its impac... more
Make Love Not War 'Tis the season for people to start lining up and deciding to take a stance in our whacky world of politics. It's getting louder and harder to remain ignorant of all the goings-on.

I’m a wood burning artist who had the honor of meeting McKenna at an art festival in Cary, NC where she stumbled into my tent and within 2 minutes made a huge impact in my life. Her words are golden due to the weight of them—they truly mean something. They aren’t flippant or nonchalant; there is so much behind them thus I can’t get enough of these podcasts. Her voice is a comfort and her whole energy oozes caring and compassion. Thank you McKenna!
One of my favorite podcasts. Always so uplifting and inspiring. Thanks for sharing with us all!
I’ve been following along and I get something useful to apply to my own studio practice in every episode. It’s great to be able to listen while I’m working!
Listening to McKenna’s podcast, ”My Golden Words” will save artists from struggling to be successful. ’Four Dirty Words”, ”An Unlikely Candidate”, are just a few examples of golden nuggets of wisdom for artists, no matter where they are on their artistic journey.
I've been following McKenna for a while, but there's just something about being able to hear a person speak to you that sometimes really hits it home. McKenna has a perfect radio voice and she's so calm and just a pleasure to listen to. Her story telling skills are great and they're always with a lesson to learn. The artist interviews are always interesting and I get so much not only for my business, but for my artist soul by tuning in with her. Make sure you subscribe, she's worth it.
