  • America’s No1. Carpet Sweeper Podcast!

Easily the best carpet sweeper podcast in America. Likely top 5 globally.

She does sometimes also talk about old horror movies, but don’t let that put you off.

  • Wild Turkey takes

Yes yes, it’s great to have Stacie back on her own show. I was a fan of GoD and loved hearing from her whenever she popped up on other pods. BUT perhaps her biggest contribution to culture is appreciating the ne’er-do-well spirit of wild turkeys. I’ve seen them in my neighborhood now and they truly don’t give an eff. Whenever I see them, I know think of Stacie. Thank you.

  • Volume problems

Wish they could even out the volume. Quietest podcast I listen too until she laughs and then it blows my earphones out.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Episode 20: THE BABYSITTER (2017) with Keezy Young
Q: What do you find compelling in horror narratives?
The idea of losing your touch with reality, being isolated, and not being able to communicate with loved ones—the fear that comes with that is something I explore in my work.
Episode 20: THE BABYSITTER (2017) with Keezy Young
Q: How do you engage with horror, given its often negative portrayals of mental illness?
I kind of think about it as research or inspiration for my own work, using portrayals in horror to fuel my own narratives.
Episode 20: THE BABYSITTER (2017) with Keezy Young
Q: Can you tell me why you keep coming back to the movie The Babysitter?
It's kind of a weird choice because it's not really even very scary. It's like a comedy horror about a lonely kid who witnesses his babysitter doing a cult sacrifice.
