I love this podcast and I really liked the episode about magic systems at the end of season 2. I am playing final fantasy x right now and I love it especially the story.(I have not gotten to blitz ball yet but I am not exited for it for what you guys said.) I am at the part where we learn to use lancet at the forest. Do you guys have any tips?
This podcast is an amazing time killer as someone who loves final fantasy and talking about it with friends. Since you guys are doing characters in season 5, please consider my favorite character. She’s an Isekai much like the main character of the Manga but from Florida. Eventually she goes on to face down with the biggest super bosses through the series. Job class is Singer/Dancer. Of course I’m referring to the one and only Ariana Grande!!
Ever since I stumbled upon a ff8 demo disc from a Pizza Hut I’ve loved finally fantasy! I appreciate the deep dives you guys go in, really is a blast from the past and I’m loving it, keep up the good work!
I honestly don’t mind the content coming directly from the fandom wiki. But the host responsible for reading the blurbs does not seem to know how to pronounce any of the locations, monsters, character names, etc. It’s frustrating and off-putting. The conversation is also less-than-insightful since their knowledge of each games is foggy and distant. Just a little more preparation before each episode would improve the podcast a lot.
I love how enthusiastic these guys are for final fantasy. And how this podcast feels like friends just hanging out talking about something with final fantasy or there favorite final fantasy.
3 ad breaks with 2-3 ads each and I didn’t even finish the episode.
I have no doubt of the hosts love for their personal favorite FF games, but this content is sadly quite lazy. Each episode they read the fandom wiki page for their topic and add in anecdotes that don’t add much to what they are discussing.
Take the recent episode on Bahamut. Were you aware that the reason Bahamut is a dragon in the FF series is allegedly because Amano just wanted to draw a dragon instead of the traditional mythological depiction? Takes very little time to find that out if you ... more
Great content!!!!! As a new player to Final Fantasy, these guys make decades worth of lore and development feel less daunting and more accessible. Looking forward to hearing the next season. Keep up the great work!!!
Just one episode and i’m already hooked, looking forward to hearing more about the lore of the games and all the topics you guys will be discussing i’ve always been interested in the lore of the FF games so this podcast will be perfect
for me, keep up the amazing work Ben, Trey, and Steve.
Even though only the first episode is out, I’m in love. I’ve been sitting here for 15 minutes trying to find the words to say, but I’m no writer, so I might as well just be blunt. I love this podcast, the people hosting it, and the community who listens to it. The community seems every bit family to me, and I’m so exited to see another lorecast, and a Final Fantasy lorecast never the less! At this point in time I’ve never seen another Final Fantasy lorecast, which is surprising because the Final... more
