Comedian Adam Blank hosts "Remember The Game?", a retro gaming podcast. Each week, Adam and his guest will select a video game that they grew up playing, and spend time reminiscing about what they loved (or hated) about it. Not intended to be a history lesson, "Remember The Game?" is more like a conversation you'd overhear on the playground as a kid. The discussions are all over the place, and are... more

  • Caters to a very specific nostalgia

Do you remember the dumbest kid in your schoolyard that complained the game “cheated” all the time? Do you have a strange nostalgia for them? Then do I have a podcast for you!

Sit back and enjoy the boring, rambling 30+ minute intro that features actual clock watching (“ok that’s 25 minutes, probably enough”). The intro does provide an important service: Adam repeatedly reminding you he’s a comedian, because you sure wouldn’t know it from the rest of the episode. There’s literally one joke, r... more

  • Very fun! No politics!

Unlike a very well known video game podcast, this one never talks about politics! Thank God! I hope this one surpasses that one and they know it!

  • Could be a great show!

This podcast is suggested to me everyday on apple podcasts and has been for years. I have tried a number of episodes and just don’t understand the some of the format decisions. The second issue is depending on the guest the episode will go one of two ways, a pretty r... more

  • Awesome

A great podcast that has given me a new appreciation for old games. I especially love the revisited episodes as he covered a lot of the more popular games I love in the earliest episodes. Keep up the great work!
