I really appreciate the 4 unique perspectives. Too many podcasts are 2 hosts agreeing, or disagreeing, but this format and the hosts show that opinions are not binary, there is always space for nuance. I also think all four of the hosts have great podcast voices (this feels like a backhanded compliment like “face for radio” but I promise it isn’t!)

Longtime listener since the OpKino days, never wrote in to review, but last night I dreamt that I was flying home to Los Angeles on a flight captained by Sully Sullenberger, and upon landing, despite noticing the plane was surrounded by frogs, I popped in my earbuds and put on an episode of Fighting in the War Room, which in my hazy dream-recollection involved Matt Patches really going on a tear about something.

I love the show, immediately latched onto it as a vital bit of interaction with a larger cultural world needed by me as someone whose friends and family generally are trying to ignore as much of the real world as possible.
I always value everyone’s opinions, though sometimes David needs to learn when to drop something (like the Diane Warren rant where Katey would have been right to slap him for interrupting and being condescending). To his haters, I think David deserves some credit for chillin... more
