  • All alliterations aren’t awesome

Good quality analysis, but sometimes over the top and definitely not critical of FIA and the likes. I’m unfollowing for all the unnecessary alliterations in the titles, it’s so corny it’s killing me

  • Lost

No one is addressing or talking about how they are going to commentate on the races and being able to inform the audience on what the driver is doing... ex, deploying, recharging etc.

  • Lando Norris

I am Lando’s biggest fan and I’m here to congratulate him on winning the world champion. I stayed up watching the live and I enjoyed the moment when he overtook Yuki on the outside line. Congratulations Lando

  • British bias propaganda

As title says. The worst part about F1 being dominated by English speaking content rears its head persistently throughout this podcast. It’s not always present, depending on the guest pundit, but it always returns as the hosts and regulars are unable to help themselves.

F1 Explains: inside a garage during a Grand Prix
Q: How do teams decide which tires to use and when to pit?
Teams use software like RaceWatch to simulate hundreds of scenarios, but final tire choices are a collaborative team decision, balancing data from simulations with live conditions, weather radar, and the evolving race situation.
F1 Explains: inside a garage during a Grand Prix
Q: What is the purpose of the pit wall?
The pit wall serves as the trackside command center, allowing the Sporting Director, Chief Race Engineer, Strategist, and Team Principal to monitor both pit lane and garages, communicate with the drivers, and coordinate race strategy.
F1 Explains: Cadillac's solid start - with Graeme Lowdon
Q: Why did Cadillac choose a black and white livery with silver accents?
The palette reflects a bold, aspirational brand identity tied to Cadillac's core values and a premium, elevated approach, not just personal preference; the color choice is part of a long brand storytelling process.
F1 Explains: Cadillac's solid start - with Graeme Lowdon
Q: What are the differences between race, reserve, and test drivers, and how is rookie experience allocated this season?
Race drivers must have full super licenses; reserve drivers also need a full license to step in, while test drivers do not. The team uses the rookie opportunities for free practice sessions and simulator development to gain valuable feedback.
F1 Explains: Cadillac's solid start - with Graeme Lowdon
Q: How are the team's remote support members structured, and where are they based?
There are two main remote garages (Charlotte and Silverstone) with about 25-30 people in Silverstone and 10-15 in Charlotte, who handle brakes, suspension, reliability, and simulation to support track operations.
