  • Habs DeVelopment Camp

Excellent Habs content, well done. What I truly truly enjoy is listening to Matt, Drake and his personal takes and knowledge of the game. His passion comes through in spades and I really appreciate his honesty and his considerable knowledge. Keep up the good work Matt we’re all listening.

  • Wait WUT?

Dropping an f-bomb for the prime minister. Did not come to this for politics. Made a Tokyo comment for Suzuki a couple of weeks ago. Thought it was a one off. I guess not. What a clown this guy is. Will keep show for Rocket report and Euro prospects, but will delete all other episodes.

  • Great host but way too many ads

The host is awesome and he is super engaging to listen to. However, this podcast is bookended with ads with an ad read in the middle as well. I understand it’s FanDuel but wow. Too many ads, I walked in and said wow that’s a lot of ads.

  • Profanity

The cursing brings nothing to the post game rant other then make it off limits to some younger ears. Unfortunate.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The Top 25 Under 25, 2026 - Number 25; Yevgeni Volokhin
Q: And what happens moving forward could depend on A, what happens with the guys in front of him, right?
The discussion suggests that the decision will hinge on who performs best among the current trio, with the organization weighing Dobish for premier starts, Fowler for 1B duty, and Volokhin's continued development to see if he can push into a larger NHL role.
Discussing Alexander Zharovsky's season - with Ivan Letyagin
Q: What factors influence the decision to bring him to Montreal or Laval?
Factors include his physical development, the coaching staff's plan, the team's window to contend for the Stanley Cup, and whether there is a clear role for him on the roster that would maximize his growth and long-term value.
Discussing Alexander Zharovsky's season - with Ivan Letyagin
Q: Should Zharovsky stay in the KHL for another year or move to North America soon?
The guests lean toward him staying in Salavat Yulaev to continue developing, gaining consistent ice time and refining his game, with a potential North American move only when he's more physically and tactically ready.
Discussing Alexander Zharovsky's season - with Ivan Letyagin
Q: What stands out about Zharovsky's 2025-2026 season in the KHL?
He exploded as a 19-year-old, led offensively at times, earned rookie-level honors, and demonstrated elite potential, though his playoff scoring was limited due to age and adaptation, suggesting a need for further development before a North American move.
Grading Bogdan Konyushkov's season with Vladislav Utkin, hockey writer of allhockey.ru and sovsport.ru
Q: What about his future—NHL vs staying in the KHL?
The panel suggests that there isn't a fixed ideal age; 23-25 is a common window to consider the NHL, but Bogdan's choice will depend on readiness and opportunities, including his one-year entry-level deal with Torpedo.
