  • Great guests

I like the pod but wish we could get a little less from Tony and skip soundbites and give the guests more room to speak, particularly Eric Engels.

We all know Tony’s take, we hear them over and over, let the guests talk more please!

  • The Best Montreal Canadiens podcast out there.

I’m a huge fan of Tony Marinaro. The man’s passion and love for the Habs is undeniable. I just really respect what a hard worker Tony is. I try to listen to every podcast. Can we please however get less Brian Wilde. That guy drives me nuts as a guest! He constantly talks over people and laughs over people at the worst time. Whatever you’re spending on that guy reinvest it somewhere else. Tony, I love your show man. Keep up the great work!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Should The Habs Already Be Considered Contenders? | The Sick Podcast with Tony Marinaro April 1 2026
Q: What has changed in Kaiden Guhle's game to make him a cornerstone for the team's defensive identity?
Guhle embraced a hard-to-play-against, in-your-face style, and by committing to that identity first, the offensive game has begun to surface more naturally.
Should The Habs Already Be Considered Contenders? | The Sick Podcast with Tony Marinaro April 1 2026
Q: Are you willing to say that the Canadiens can win the Stanley Cup this year despite not being perfect?
Yes, because the team has shown it can compete with top teams, its goaltending has improved, and their younger players have matured into impactful contributors, which makes a deep run plausible this season.
Ça Commence À Sentir Les Séries À Montréal!! | Le Sick Podcast Avec Tony Marinaro 27/03/26
Q: What is your opinion on how Martin Saint-Louis handled yesterday's media questions?
Tony explains that while Saint-Louis was curt, it reflects the pressures of coachspeak and the realities of daily media demands; he emphasizes empathy but defends the right to set boundaries.
5 IN A ROW FOR HABS!!! | The Sick Podcast with Tony Marinaro March 29 2026
Q: What's the key to the Canadiens' five-game win streak, according to you?
The offense has been diversified, shot-blocking has improved, and the team is playing with a strong collective identity where different players step up on different nights, supported by solid goaltending.
Habs NEED To Learn From Leafs’ Mistakes! | The Sick Podcast with Tony Marinaro March 30 2026
Q: If the Habs don't win a playoff series, will this season be considered a step back?
If they continue to perform and potentially reach the playoffs, the season should be viewed as progress with several players having career years, though a poor playoff exit could change that perception depending on the manner of the defeat.
