You have not only your commercials, but on top of that the platforms commercials (e.g. Apple) and on top of that, you continuously promote your other shows, which by the way are ... more

  • Great guests

I like the pod but wish we could get a little less from Tony and skip soundbites and give the guests more room to speak, particularly Eric Engels.

We all know Tony’s take, we hear them over and over, let the guests talk more please!

Talking Points

What Exactly Is Kent Hughes Waiting For? | The Sick Podcast with Tony Marinaro August 3 2026
Q: If you swapped PK Subban and Lane Hudson, how might their careers have turned out with different management and coaching?
Both see Subban benefiting from a more teaching-focused approach and a modern coaching style, while Hudson might have thrived under a coach who valued his risk-taking and development; overall, Subban could have benefited from less punitive environments, and Hudson might have had greater room to grow under a forward-thinking staff.
L'Avenir De Xhekaj & Discussion Tennis Avec Eugène Lapierre | Le Sick Podcast Avec Tony Marinaro 30/07/26
Q: How might Bolduc's contract negotiations reflect a broader market trend in evaluating young players for future value?
Bolduc's case exemplifies paying for projected future value rather than solely past performance, balancing current needs with long-term growth and cap considerations.
How Good Can Juraj Slafkovsky Be In His Prime? | The Sick Podcast with Tony Marinaro July 23 2026
Q: Talk to me about Slafkovsky and how you view his game.
Slafkovsky showed a notable breakout this year, becoming the driver on the second line and demonstrating increased confidence handling the puck, with a potential path to becoming a high-end playmaker and goal scorer.
Q: How do the panelists assess the McGregor comeback and the fight's brevity?
They characterize it as a spectacle-driven turn that may mark the end of an elite fighting career, while acknowledging McGregor's enduring appeal as a showman and marketable athlete.
