While Apron and Marc-Antoine are knowledgeable about the Montreal Canadiens and hockey in general, they spend a lot of time just repeating things that they wrote about during the week, many of which have already been covered by other shows. Also, most episodes are 90+ minutes, which is way too long and only one per week is free, as they are constantly advertising for their paid episodes and chats. For as long as I can remember, hockey coverage in Habsland (ie the whole planet if we’re being honest) has been sensationalist, to say the least.
This podcast is wholesome & fueled with even keeled analysis of all things Canadien by two of the best journalists covering Le Club.
Came for the jingle. Stayed for the content.
Then you have to listen to this podcast.
There are other Habs pods but unlike those this one is short on noise, repetition and cringy cheeseballness and long on informed and thoughtful analysis. The best I’ve come across by far.
