  • What bible are you reading?

I’m a Sunday School teacher trying to prepare for my lesson tomorrow. It is Exodus 5:1-4. First you said 1-5. And then what you read was not any Bible verse I could find. I use a bible app and so have access to many, many Bible versions. I wanted to follow along in the Bible but was unable to. Very frustrating

  • Podcast has potential

It just never flows and Amber interrupts a lot. Gia is constantly saying ummm. They need some help with their communication skills.

This podcast does have great potential. The gentlemen that come on to share answers are great though. Amber is not the right person for this podcast!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Session 11 (May 10) Explore the Bible Adults
Q: What practical steps can leaders implement in their groups this week?
Leaders can urge readiness in daily life, pursue spiritual disciplines, memorize and explain Romans 6:23, remain faithful to God-given tasks, and consider using the Leader Guide's music option and a suggested song to spark discussion—specifically Lion and the Lamb by Leeland. Timestamp corresponds to the segment introducing practical steps.
Session 11 (May 10) Explore the Bible Adults
Q: What is the context of the passage and how does it fit into Passion Week?
The host and guest discuss that the Olivet Discourse occurs during Jesus' last week in Jerusalem, with the focus on end-times signs; the context emphasizes being prepared rather than predicting exact timing, and frames the discussion around practical readiness. Timestamp aligns with the questioning segment.
Session 9 (Apr. 26) Explore the Bible Adults
Q: What is the main teaching or takeaway from the parable of the two sons?
The parable contrasts those who outwardly appear righteous with those who humbly submit to God's will; true obedience is shown by actions, not appearances, and it condemns the religious leaders' hypocrisy.
Session 9 (Apr. 26) Explore the Bible Adults
Q: What is the context of the passage?
The hosts frame the context as Jesus arriving in Jerusalem during Passion Week, confronting religious leaders, and setting up the week's events that culminate in the crucifixion; they connect previous chapters to Jesus' authority disputes.
Session 4 (Mar. 22) Explore the Bible Adults
Q: Why did Jesus tell the disciples not to speak of the vision until after the resurrection?
Because the full meaning of the event is tied to the passion and resurrection; speaking before would confuse expectations about the Messiah and the kingdom, whereas the resurrection would reveal the correct interpretation.
