Usually I enjoy this podcast but I have a problem with how sympathetic we are with some of these celebrities and glossing over some of the worst parts of these people. Also the Wallis Simpson episodes were very biased. I’m not saying she was a saint, she sure as hell wasn’t but it’s clear to me the research wasn’t great on this one. This could be so good because it’s well researched and interesting information. But we’re not BFFs with the hosts so why do they have to give their personal opinions on every decision someone else makes. They are annoying - please - stop telling me what you think Eddie Murphy or Scarlett Johansson or anyone did wrong in their lives and live your own lives. Let history be the story not your personal feelings.

I find many of these people to be portrayed as wonderful but simply misunderstood. Assuming people’s motivations are always good is not the way to go. I wouldn’t recommend listening to this unless you want rose coloured glasses of history or one half of the story.
