I just finished this podcast and am sad it has ended. I am hoping for another season. We lived in Japan blissfully for 3 years and I did not know any of this. I am now searching for documentaries. I’m hooked and need to know more about one of my favorite places on earth!
Brilliant exploration of many kinds of human disappearances, I was gripped.
I’m a huge binge fan and this has been one of my favorites! Please make another season.
This podcast had me hooked from the start. I loved the opportunity to learn more about the Japanese culture’s dark side and the consequences of the pervasiveness of mysoginy across all their institutions.
This has so many elements of a great podcast. It took me into a world I knew nothing about, and by examining one topic, I learned about the tendrils that reach far into another culture and educated me in numerous ways on numerous things. The mystery unfolded artfully, with just the right amount of creepy, and get a good pace with a spritely investigative team.
