There are plenty of podcasts with a couple of mates talking footy but the Champion Data connection makes this one stand out. The stats help you see the game in a new way. Gotta knock off a star for Jake who’s always having a whinge about the same thing “why isn’t x better?” with all of the nuance of dad in the 60s that can’t tell his son he loves him. Keep up the good work boys. Jake, stop being such a hater.
Well produced great stuff!
Great content, stats, analysis.. But Jake raises the blood pressure levels with his irritation at everything thats wrong or incorrect in the world of footy. I’ve started to miss a lot of episodes because I listen on my daily commute to relax and enjoy some footy discussion, not hear someone annoyed and irritated.
Enjoy the pod, but if I’m to offer some potentially nitpicky constructive criticism, Christian, can you be a bit mindful of how often you say the word “again”. I’ve turned it into a drinking game and my liver is failing. Anyone else reading this, now I’ve pointed it out you’ll notice it a lot, sorry.
This is a great pod but I feel that it could be a bit longer or 2 eps a week
