  • Bring back Ben

Great podcast but more and more Zita is on and just takes the piss, get the impression he feels it’s a waste of his time and he’s dialling it in. “Wait why am I here again”

Like the opinions and analysis but respect the listeners please.

  • Good but anti-“Interstate” teams

Content is generally very good quality, but it’s tiring to listen to the contributors consistently whine about any rare occurrences of AFL administration decisions that go the way of any non-Victorian sides while ignoring every baked in advantage that Vic teams have had for decades.

‘It’s not a good look’ Swann on AFL Officiating! Draft debate, stand rule scrutiny & what must change – 18/03/26
Q: What is the rationale behind the stand rule and its impact on the game?
The stand rule is intended to prevent players from standing back and letting opponents run past, aiding in contest structure; Swann acknowledges unintended circumstances can occur but argues the rule overall supports proactive defending and game flow, while also emphasizing ongoing evaluation.
Fox Footy Podcast: Is the AFL splitting into two divisions?
Q: Does the wildcard/top-10 finals format help or hinder smaller clubs trying to break through?
The panel suggests the top-six emphasis remains; the wildcard system adds drama and more finals content, which broadcasters like, but it could also extend hope for lower-ranked teams in a year where the gap is large.
‘Still Work to Be Done’ SA Push to Extend Gather Round! Dillon & Malinauskas Speak, Lyon Reacts to Hewett Axing – 10/03/26
Q: Premier, you have laid claim to a future Origin game already in South Australia. What about the women's side of things?

AFL 360 - "There's a dent in that Cup!" - Chris Fagan reveals Grand Final tactics & reflects on Neale's 'spirit lifting' return | 29/09/25
