I’m a regular listener and really enjoy the podcast, but I wanted to share one piece of feedback. The word “hate” seems to come up quite a lot when talking about opponents or rival teams. I understand that rivalry and passion are central to AFL, but “hate” is a very strong word and, given the tone of public discourse these days, it feels unnecessary in the context of sport.

All they care about is protecting traditional states and more importantly VFL.
They say they want fairness. But ignore the money in traditional state grassroots, the always home GF, never travel, no home advantage but no away disadvantage.
The media actively shopping for northern club stars to “come home”.
