Sam’s arrogance in his footy opinions is unbearable. While both might be great news reporters, the A-Grade segment just reinforced that they should leave the analysis to others. The insight was lacking and criteria contradictory throughout to support his selections, and the smug delivery made it even worse. A tough listen.
I love the Sam McClure v Kane Cornes niggle!
Love the show and content lads, keep up the good work!
A good listen. Mitch is a gun.
This could be great podcast if Sam wasn’t so smug. His smugness and arrogance about mid season draft, wanting floating fixtures shows no care. Not sure if it’s a facade or he’s deadset flog. Sounds like flog and looks like one too. Maybe Mitch could do the show alone.

AFL trade talk happens year-round, with two seasoned hosts breaking down player movement, list management, and club strategy long before deals become public. They dissect ongoing rumours, contract dynamics, draft timing, and coaching/ownership angles, mixing rigorous analysis with banter and behind-the-scenes anecdotes. Sponsorship reads and real-world industry context anchor discussions, giving listeners a practical sense of how trades evolve from boardroom to press conference. A notable strength is the fast-paced, chemistry-driven format that blends data-heavy analysis with approachable commentary, making it engaging for both hardcore fans and industry watchers who sponsor, pitch, or benchmark AFL-related content.
